Agreement and eligibility

These terms apply when you use GridLens or purchase a GridLens Site Snapshot. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into this agreement and, if purchasing for an organization, that you are authorized to act for it.

Site Snapshot purchase

A Site Snapshot is a one-time digital purchase for infrastructure-screening information about the Alberta location selected before checkout. The checkout page shows the exact amount and currency that will be charged, including any applicable tax configured for the transaction. Payments are processed by Stripe; GridLens does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Delivery and access

GridLens begins generating the Site Snapshot after the payment provider confirms payment. Delivery occurs online through the private Snapshot link shown after checkout. Payment confirmation can occasionally be delayed. If a confirmed payment does not unlock the report, email info@gridlens.ca with the purchaser email and approximate purchase time. Do not send card details.

The Snapshot link is the access credential for the report. You are responsible for saving it, limiting who receives it, and printing or saving any copy you need. Anyone with the link may be able to view the report.

Refunds and cancellations

You may abandon checkout without charge before payment is completed. Because a Site Snapshot is generated and delivered immediately for the location you select, a completed purchase is otherwise non-refundable except where required by law. If GridLens receives payment but cannot provide the purchased report because of a technical failure that we cannot remedy within a reasonable time, contact us within 14 days of purchase. We will provide access or refund the affected purchase. GridLens may also issue a refund at its discretion.

Permitted use

You may use and share a purchased Site Snapshot within your organization and with your professional advisers for site-screening purposes. You may not resell it, present it as an engineering or interconnection study, interfere with GridLens, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated means to extract substantial portions of the service.

Screening information, not an engineering conclusion

GridLens products summarize mapped public and derived datasets for early-stage infrastructure screening. They are not engineering, legal, regulatory, utility, or interconnection advice, and they do not establish service or commercial access.

Source limitations

Infrastructure locations and source records can be incomplete, approximate, delayed, or revised. Users must independently verify material facts with asset owners, utilities, regulators, professional advisers, and field diligence before relying on them.

Availability and liability

GridLens may correct, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GridLens is not responsible for decisions, project costs, lost opportunities, or other indirect or consequential loss arising from use of screening information. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

Test checkout

Any page labelled Test payment is a development simulation. It does not process a real charge or create a representation that online payment has been collected.
