Information you provide

A Site Assessment request stores the contact, company, selected-site, and project details you submit so GridLens can process and respond to the request. A Site Snapshot stores its selected coordinates, purchaser email if supplied, payment status, provider transaction reference, timestamps, and completed report.

Payments

Stripe hosts checkout and processes payment information for Site Snapshot purchases. GridLens receives transaction status and identifiers needed to verify payment, provide access, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and support the purchase. GridLens does not receive or store your complete card number or card security code. Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy policy.

How information is used

GridLens uses personal information to provide purchased reports, respond to assessment requests and support questions, maintain transaction and business records, secure and improve the service, diagnose failures, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations. GridLens does not sell personal information.

Site measurement

GridLens uses Google Analytics to understand product usage. Commercial workflow events do not include Snapshot access tokens, selected coordinates, email addresses, or project notes.

Service providers and processing locations

GridLens uses service providers including Stripe for payments, Google Cloud for application hosting, Google Analytics for site measurement, and Amazon Web Services for database infrastructure. These providers process information on GridLens's behalf under their own contractual and security terms. Information may be processed or stored outside your province or country and may be subject to the laws of those locations.

Retention

GridLens retains purchase, report, support, and assessment information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably required, subject to backups and required record-retention periods.

Capability links

A Site Snapshot URL contains an unguessable access token. Treat the link as private and share it only with people who should be able to view the report.

Security and your choices

GridLens uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, but no online system is completely secure. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information, email info@gridlens.ca. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, transaction, or dispute-resolution purposes.

GridLens may update this notice as the service or its providers change. The updated date above identifies the latest version. Privacy and payment-data questions can be sent to info@gridlens.ca.
